In keeping with the vernacular style of Cape Dutch architecture, The Homestead is roofed with traditional thatch and centred on a central ‘great room’. From this communal gathering space, and the spacious courtyard, magnificent valley and ocean views dominate the horizon.
Beneath The Homestead is the remarkable vaulted wine cellar, used to host special events, unique tasting experiences and international visitors. In its unique architecture, with deep brick arches and dramatic lighting, The Homestead is testament to the talent, workmanship and expertise of South African craftsmanship.
