Peter Finlayson is the General Manager and Winemaker. Peter has been the winemaker since the inception of Bouchard Finlayson in 1989. His dedication to making the finest wines are illustrated across the wine range, with emphasis on his Pinot noirs and the exceptional Tete de Cuvee Galpin Peak Pinot noir.

Chris Albrecht complements the Bouchard Finlayson winemaking team as the Assistant Winemaker. Chris graduated from Stellenbosch University with his degree in Oenology and Viticulture. His practical experience has taken him worldwide, where he has assisted in cellars in California, France, South Africa and New Zealand. He has worked for a local winery in Franschhoek for 5 years and received a 5 star Platter award 11 for his MCC.

Mortimer Lee is the Farm and Vineyard Manager. He manages a team of 20 workers and ensures the vineyards are tendered and cared for throughout the year and the grapes are of the best quality when it comes to harvest time. Top quality wines begin with the finest grapes.

Karen Davison heads up the Marketing and Sales team. Key here is to ensure Bouchard Finlaysons brand is acknowledged worldwide via e-commerce products, brochures and wine shows. Her degrees in transport economics complements the supply of wines to overseas and local markets. Her team ensures customer satisfaction and friendly hospitality to everyone that visits the winery.

Danél Theron is the Sales and Marketing Assistant. Whether it is planning for a function be it a small group tasting, pre-booked wine tour, large lunch gathering or a music or poetry evening at the winery or Homestead, Danél co-ordinates the set up for the caterers and the décor to ensure each is a superb event. Danél immerses herself in the national trade to ensure all are educated with Bouchard Finlaysons latest releases. Her extensive wine knowledge ensure that visitors to the farm leave well educated about our wine range.

Jessica Saurwein is a graduate from Stellenbosch University with a degree in Oenology and Viticulture. She has been employed at Bouchard Finlayson to assist in Winemaking (harvests) and Marketing where necessary, with her main occupation being Project Manager, as she creatively coordinates various projects and introduces Bouchard Finlayson to a wider audience via media related networking.

Brian Stipp as Financial Manager is responsible for budgets, financial statements and all other accounting functions.

Melanie Groenewald is the Administration and Accounts Assistant. With her bubbly personality, Melanie ensures visitors to the farm receive friendly hospitality and enjoy the wine tasting experience while listening to descriptions about Bouchard Finlaysons fine wine range and surrounding natural flora. Melanie performs administrative and financial tasks.

Silke Austin is Bouchard Finlaysons Accounts Assistant. She is responsible for credit control. Her various functions include collection of debtors, accounts reconciliation, banking and client liason.

Louis Mjekula as Homestead caretaker and office housekeeper ensures that the grounds, offices and Homestead of Bouchard Finlayson are immaculate at all times.

Lambert Gardener independently coordinates all maintenance related jobs with a small maintenance team when necessary. He ensures that the recycling is kept up to date and Lambert can be relied upon for all important hands-on activities needed on a farm.
